The front shell is most of what you see when you hold a DualSense, so swapping it changes most of the look in one job. Pick a design from the gallery on this page and we transfer your controller into the new eXtremeRate front housing, keeping your original board, sticks and triggers, then test every input before handover. Front shells fit every DualSense model, so there is nothing to check before you book.
A DualSense is not a friendly controller to open. The face buttons, springs and flex cables all have to come out and go back in exactly right, and the adaptive trigger assemblies are easy to damage. We do these swaps regularly, so you keep playing and we do the fiddly part.

We message you as soon as it lands, and most swaps are finished the same day you drop off.

Because the shell is bought in specifically for your job, made to order bookings are paid online and change of mind refunds are not available once your parts are on order. Front shell only, or should I do the back as well?
The front changes most of the look on its own. If you want grip as well as looks, our DualSense Backplate Swap adds rubberised and textured back shells, and you can add both to the same booking so the controller is only opened once.
How long does the swap take?
The shell usually takes one to two weeks to arrive after you book. You keep your controller while it is on the way, and once it lands most swaps are completed the same day you drop off.
Will a shell swap void my controller warranty?
Opening a controller or fitting non genuine parts may void any remaining manufacturer warranty, which is true of any custom mod. Our own 30-day warranty covers the parts and labour of the swap.
