We strip down your Switch, clear dust from the fan and heatsink, and apply fresh thermal paste to fix loud fan noise and overheating shutdowns.
What is covered: a full internal clean, new thermal paste, and a function test, backed by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
Not covered: faults unrelated to cooling, water or physical damage, and natural dust build-up over time after the service.
Hot, loud or shutting down in the dock
A Switch that gets hot in the dock, whirs loudly in demanding games or shuts down with an overheating message is usually choked with dust inside, with thermal paste that dried out years ago. The Switch is small, so a little dust does a lot of damage to its cooling.
Our clean is a full teardown: fan and heatsink cleaned, vents cleared, and fresh thermal paste applied between the chip and heat pipe. It is the single best piece of maintenance an ageing Switch can get.

My Switch shuts down with an overheating message. Will a clean fix it?
In most cases yes. Dust and dried paste are by far the most common cause. If the clean reveals a worn fan we will let you know; a replacement fan is a separate low-cost service.
How often should a Switch be cleaned?
Every couple of years for a typical home, sooner if it lives in a dusty spot or runs hot already.
Is it worth cleaning an original 2017 Switch?
Absolutely. Older consoles benefit the most, because their paste has fully dried out. A $60 clean routinely adds years of life.
Can I post my Switch in for a clean?
Yes, Australia wide through the mail-in service, with tracked return postage included in the total.
