We strip down your PS5 (Standard, Slim or Digital), clear dust from the fan and heatsink, and apply fresh thermal paste to fix loud fan noise and overheating shutdowns.
What is covered: a full internal clean, new thermal paste, and a function test, backed by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
Not covered: faults unrelated to cooling, water or physical damage, and natural dust build-up over time after the service.
Why your PS5 sounds like a jet engine
A PS5 pulls air through itself constantly, and after a year or two the heatsink fins and fan blades are packed with dust. The console runs hotter, the fan spins harder to compensate, and eventually you get the roar during games, hot air pouring out the vents, and in bad cases overheating shutdowns mid-session.
A proper internal clean is not a blast of compressed air through the vents. We open the console fully, remove the fan, clean the heatsink fins, blades and boards, and reassemble with fresh thermal interface where needed. The difference in noise is usually dramatic.

Pricing starts at $60 depending on condition, shown up front when you book. Every clean includes a full strip down, dust removal from the fan and heatsink, and a thermal check before reassembly. The work is covered by our 30-day warranty.
Frequently asked questions
How often should a PS5 be cleaned?
Every 12 to 18 months for most homes, sooner with pets or carpet. If the fan noise has crept up noticeably or the console feels hot to the touch, it is due.
Will a clean fix my PS5 overheating and shutting down?
Usually yes. Dust-choked cooling is the most common cause of overheating shutdowns. If the clean shows the liquid metal has also degraded, we will recommend a reapplication and confirm the price with you first.
Can I post my PS5 in for a clean?
Yes. Choose Post it in when booking and we email you the postal address once your order is confirmed. You post it via Australia Post, we clean and test it, and it comes back to your door tracked.
Is opening the console safe for my data and games?
Yes. A clean is purely physical maintenance. Your storage, games, saves and account are untouched.
How long does a PS5 internal clean take?
Drop-offs are usually ready the same day. Mail-in cleans are typically turned around within a day of arriving, plus postage time each way.
