The repair for a PS5 that runs hot, crashes in games or shuts itself off. PS5 heat problems usually come from two things at once: dust choking the fan and heatsink, and the liquid metal between the processor and the cooler drying out or moving over time. A clean on its own only fixes the first. This package fixes both.
We strip the console down, deep clean the fan, heatsink and boards, remove all of the old liquid metal from the processor and cooler, apply fresh liquid metal with proper containment so it stays where it belongs, and check temperatures before it goes back together. Fits PS5 Standard, Slim and Digital.
Only noticing more fan noise? The $80 Internal Clean is the smaller job for that.

Why a PS5 overheats
Two things stop a PS5 cooling properly. Dust packs the fan and heatsink fins so air cannot get through, and the liquid metal between the chip and the cooler dries at the edges or migrates, which consoles stored or moved upright and early production units are especially prone to. Either one leaves you with a console that roars, runs hot, crashes in demanding games or shuts itself off.
The overheating package fixes both in one visit. We strip the console down, clean the fan, heatsink and boards, remove the old liquid metal from the chip and cold plate completely, apply fresh liquid metal with proper containment, and check temperatures before it goes back together.
How this differs from an Internal Clean
They are two different jobs. The $80 Internal Clean only clears dust, which helps a PS5 that has got loud but still runs fine. It does not touch the liquid metal, so it will not fix a console that runs hot or shuts down. The $150 Overheating Package includes that same clean plus the fresh liquid metal and temperature check, which is what a heat problem actually needs.

Is redoing the liquid metal safe?
It is a job for a workshop rather than a kitchen table, because liquid metal conducts electricity and a spill can kill the board. We use proper containment and new seals where they are needed.
Will my games and saves be safe?
Yes. The work is on the cooling system only, so your storage, games, saves and account are untouched.
