Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 June 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a repair booking with RevTech (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the customer”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. These terms form a binding agreement between you and us and apply to all repair, diagnostic, and related services we provide.
2. Pricing & Estimates
All prices displayed on our website are estimates based on standard repair scenarios. The final price may vary if, upon inspection, we find:
- Additional damage not visible or disclosed at the time of booking
- Non-standard components or previous third-party repair work
- Parts that are more expensive than anticipated due to supply constraints
We will always contact you before proceeding if the final cost differs significantly from the quoted estimate. You have the right to decline the repair at no charge (other than any diagnostic fee already incurred).
3. Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee may apply for in-depth assessments where no repair is subsequently carried out. Where a diagnostic fee applies, we will inform you before proceeding. If you proceed with the repair following diagnosis, the diagnostic fee is included in the final repair cost.
4. Data & Privacy
We strongly recommend you back up all data before leaving your device with us. While we take every precaution, repair work may in some cases result in loss of data, saved games, accounts, or other stored content. We accept no liability for any data loss that occurs during or as a result of a repair.
Your personal information (name, email, phone) is used solely to manage your booking and communicate with you about your repair. We do not sell or share your details with third parties.
5. Warranty
All repairs carried out by us are covered by a 30-day warranty on parts and labour from the date of collection. This warranty covers faults directly related to the repair performed.
The warranty does not cover:
- Water, liquid, or moisture damage of any kind
- Physical or accidental damage (drops, cracks, impact, pressure, etc.)
- Issues unrelated to the original repair we performed
- Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, or further third-party repair
To make a warranty claim, contact us with your booking reference number within the warranty period. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not limited by this express warranty.
6. Pre-existing Damage
We document the cosmetic and physical condition of your device on intake. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, cracks, scratches, or structural issues that were present before the repair. If undisclosed prior damage is discovered during repair and affects our ability to complete the job safely, we reserve the right to halt the repair and notify you.
7. Right to Refuse Repair
We reserve the right to refuse or decline any repair at our discretion, including but not limited to cases involving severe physical damage, undisclosed liquid damage, or devices that pose a safety risk. In such cases, a diagnostic fee may still apply for time already spent.
8. Uncollected Devices
Once your repair is complete, we will notify you by email and/or phone. Devices not collected within 60 days of the completion notification may be subject to a storage fee or, at our discretion, disposed of or sold to recover outstanding costs. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking any such action.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the cost of the repair in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, or third-party claims arising from the repair.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking. The current version is always available at this page.
