The repair for an Xbox that runs hot, ramps its fan right up or shuts itself off mid game. The cause is usually two things at once: dust choking the fan and heatsink, and thermal paste on the processor that has dried out and stopped moving heat. A clean on its own only fixes the first. This package fixes both.
We open the console, deep clean the fan, heatsink and boards, remove the dried paste, apply fresh thermal paste to the processor and check temperatures before it goes back together. Fits Series X, Series S and Xbox One.
Only noticing more fan noise? The $80 Internal Clean is the smaller job for that.
What is covered: the full internal clean, fresh thermal paste, a temperature check and labour, backed by our 30-day warranty.

Loud fans and random shutdowns
The Series X tower and the Series S both breathe through large vents that pull in dust all year. Once the heatsink clogs and the thermal paste dries, the console runs hot, the fan ramps up, and eventually it shuts down mid game to protect the chip.
The overheating package fixes both causes in one visit. We take the console apart, clear the fan, heatsink fins and boards, replace the dried paste with fresh thermal paste, and check temperatures before reassembly. Series X, Series S and the Xbox One family are all covered.
How this differs from an Internal Clean
They are two different jobs. The $80 Internal Clean only clears dust, which helps an Xbox that has got loud but still runs fine. It does not replace the thermal paste, so it will not fix a console that runs hot or shuts down. The $150 Overheating Package includes that same clean plus fresh paste and a temperature check.
