About this service
We open up your Xbox (Series X/S or One), clear dust from the fan and heatsink, and apply fresh thermal paste to fix loud fan noise and overheating shutdowns.
What is covered: a full internal clean, new thermal paste, and a function test, backed by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
Not covered: faults unrelated to cooling, water or physical damage, and natural dust build-up over time after the service.
Loud fans and random shutdowns
The Series X tower and the Series S both breathe through large vents that inhale dust year round. When the heatsink clogs, the console runs hot, the fan ramps up, and eventually you get shutdowns mid-game or a console that powers itself off to protect the chip.
Our clean is a full teardown, not a vacuum over the vents: fan out, heatsink fins cleared, boards dusted, and thermal paste renewed where inspection shows it has dried. Temperatures are verified before reassembly.
Eighty dollars, Perth or by post
The clean is $80 for Series X, Series S and Xbox One. Perth drop-offs are usually same day. Mail-in customers anywhere in Australia book online, choose Post it in, and get the console back tracked to their door.
Frequently asked questions
My Xbox Series X turns itself off during games. Will a clean fix it?
If the cause is heat, and it usually is, yes. Dust-blocked cooling is the most common reason a Series X shuts down under load. If diagnosis points to something deeper we tell you before doing any work.
Do you clean the older Xbox One models too?
Yes, the whole Xbox One family plus Series X and S, all at the same $80 price.
How often should an Xbox be cleaned?
Every 12 to 18 months in a typical home. The Series X especially rewards regular cleaning because its vertical airflow design pulls dust through constantly.
Can I post my Xbox in for a clean?
Yes, from anywhere in Australia, with tracked return postage included in your total.
