We replace a noisy or failing cooling fan in your Nintendo Switch and clear out dust, fixing overheating in dock mode and loud fan noise. Fits Switch V1/V2 and OLED.
What is covered: the replacement fan and labour, backed by our 30-day warranty.
Not covered: faults unrelated to cooling, water or physical damage, and unrelated faults.
A tiny fan with a big job
The Switch relies on one small fan, and when its bearing wears out you hear it: buzzing, grinding or rattling that changes with load. A fan that seizes entirely leads to overheating shutdowns within minutes of demanding play.
We replace the fan and clean the cooling path while the console is open, then verify temperatures before reassembly. If the noise turns out to be dust rather than wear, the internal clean is the cheaper fix and we will tell you so.

The replacement is $50 fitted and tested, including a clean of the cooling path while we are in there.
How do I know it is the fan and not just dust?
Dust makes the fan louder but smooth; a worn bearing buzzes, grinds or clicks. If you are unsure, book the fan service and we will fit whichever fix your console actually needs, confirming with you first.
Can I post my Switch in for a fan replacement?
Yes, Australia wide via the mail-in service with tracked return postage included.
