The repair for a PS4 that runs hot, roars under load or turns itself off. Most PS4s are years old now, and the cause is usually two things at once: dust packed into the fan and heatsink, and thermal paste on the processor that has dried into a crust. A clean on its own only fixes the first. This package fixes both.
We strip the console down, deep clean the fan, heatsink and boards, remove the old paste, apply fresh thermal paste to the processor and check temperatures before it goes back together. Fits the original PS4, the Slim and the Pro.
Only noticing more fan noise? The $80 Internal Clean is the smaller job for that.
What is covered: the full internal clean, fresh thermal paste, a temperature check and labour, backed by our 30-day warranty.

How this differs from an Internal Clean
They are two different jobs. The $80 Internal Clean only clears dust, which helps a PS4 that is loud but still runs fine. It does not replace the thermal paste, so it will not fix a console that runs hot or turns itself off. The $150 Overheating Package includes that same clean plus fresh paste and a temperature check.
