Do you have a workshop in Sydney?
No — and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. Every repair happens at our workshop in North Perth, WA. Sydney customers use the mail-in service: Australia Post carries your device both ways with tracking, and the repair work is identical to a local drop-off.
How long does a mail-in repair take from Sydney?
Postage from Sydney is typically three to six business days each way, and most repairs are completed within a day of the parcel arriving. As a rule of thumb, allow a week and a half door to door for standard repairs.
What does postage cost?
You pay normal Australia Post rates to send it to us (a controller travels in a small satchel for around $12, a console around $20 to $25). Return postage home is included in your booking total: $12 for a single controller or handheld, $20 for a console or any booking with more than one device.
Is the warranty the same as for local customers?
Identical: a 30-day parts and labour warranty on every repair, and for mail-in jobs it starts the day the parcel is delivered back to you, not the day we post it.
